Electronic Prescriptions

We can send prescriptions electronically to a nominate pharmacy at request.

We encourage all who take regular medications (and those who don’t) to nominate a pharmacy that you collect from regularly, to receive prescriptions electronically.

You request medication as normal, however, when collecting medications you no longer have to come to the surgery to collect a FP10 (Green prescription).

Of course there will be some medications, appliances, solutions, injections etc. that CANNOT go electronically they are known as non-ETP2 compliant prescriptions if you are unsure if your medication comes under the non-ETP2 compliance, please do not hesitate to call us for information.

ALL prescriptions will take 48 hours to be processed by the surgery.

 

 

Prescription Requests

During the current pandemic we are trying to make it easier for you to request prescriptions!

You can currently request prescriptions in the following ways:

  1.  Through SystmOnline
  2. Via the NHS App
  3. Submit an Econsult
  4. Call Reception

Please note that ALL prescription will take 48 hours to be processed however this does not account for the time the pharmacy needs to dispense the medication, for this you will need to contact the pharmacy directly.

If you require delivery of medication you can sort information regarding this below:

  1.  Nominate an online pharmacy
  2. Talk with you current pharmacy to see what they offer
  3. Contact the volunteers in the community

Onsite:

Reception are available from 08.30am until 18.30pm to help answer queries and questions via telephone.

If you are requesting a call back from your GP reception will need to know as much information possible so that your request can be dealt with appropriately.

If your request can be dealt with administratively then we will endeavor to do so!

We are currently only booking in Urgent blood test and Urgent Reviews for face to face appointments.

NEW! Econsult

We also have an ONLINE consultation system. This enables you to contact us through our website! Econsult will ask you a series of questions that will direct you to the most advised place of care for your current situation.

If you require to speak to a GP we may ask you to complete an Econsult first. Once the Econsult has been submitted with all the information necessary we can register you for a call back  with in 24 hours during weekdays (If submitted on a Friday likely contact will be by Monday evening).

Appointments:

We still  have availability in HUB clinics on late evenings and weekends. Please note you will be telephone triaged before being see Face to Face.
